This gallery exhibit contains photographic images captured in northern
lower and southeastern Michigan throughout 1999-2002. Camera mediums include
traditional large format, 35mm, digital capture, and 120mm Holga. All
fine art prints have been produced using Adobe Photoshop and the archival
ink jet Epson SP 2000P. This particular Giclee printing process yields
a lightfastness rating of 200 years.
I look to the natural landscape for inspiration and continue to explore
the connection of the human condition to the universe. My passions range
from traditional large format photography to digital processes. Capturing
light on film is like playing notes of music, awakening the intuitive nature
inside of every human being. I am influenced by traditional and digital
forms of imagery, including the use of design and the web for visual education.
I participate in the craft of photography as a digital artist, fine art
photographer, multimedia designer, and visual educator in southeastern
Michigan. I also operate a web business providing digital imaging solutions,
software consulting, and image restoration.
Photography has changed the face of society forever. By observing the
environment around us, we can go deeper into the meaning of life and the
understanding of ourselves.
